Terms of Sale
These terms apply when you buy a product from Home Straight. Please read them before you purchase — when you complete a purchase, you agree to them. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

What you’re buying
Our products are digital educational materials — guides, workbooks, and similar resources that you download or access online. When you buy one, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own purposes. You’re welcome to print a copy for yourself. Please don’t resell it, share your copy publicly, or reproduce it for others.
Education, not advice
Home Straight provides general education to help you think through your own decisions. Our products are not personal financial, legal, tax, or real-estate advice, and they don’t take your individual circumstances into account. We don’t predict sale prices or market timing, and we don’t tell you what to decide — that’s always your call. For advice tailored to your situation, please speak with an appropriately qualified professional.
Price and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where it applies. Payment is processed securely by our checkout provider, SamCart; we don’t see or store your full card details. You’ll receive an emailed receipt for your order. We may change our prices from time to time, but the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you buy.
Delivery and access
Access is digital and usually immediate. After your payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an email with a link to download or access your product. If it hasn’t arrived within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder first, then email us at sophie@homestraight.com.au and we’ll sort it out promptly.
Our 30-day money-back guarantee
We want you to feel the product was worth it. If it isn’t right for you, email us at sophie@homestraight.com.au within 30 days of your purchase and we’ll refund you in full — no need to explain why. Refunds are returned to your original payment method. This guarantee is something we offer on top of your legal rights; it doesn’t replace or reduce them.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Among other things, our digital products must match their description and be reasonably fit for the purpose we describe. If there’s a major problem, you’re entitled to a remedy as set out in that law, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If you think something’s gone wrong, tell us and we’ll make it right.
Responsible use
Please use our products lawfully and only for your own personal use. You agree not to copy, distribute, on-sell, or publish our materials, or strip out our branding, without our written permission. The content, design, and wording of our products remain our intellectual property.
Our responsibility to you
We put real care into our products, but we can’t guarantee a particular outcome from using them — the decisions you make and the results you get depend on your own circumstances. To the extent the law allows, and except for the consumer guarantees described above, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing here limits any liability that can’t be limited under the law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia, and the courts of that territory.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published here when you buy. The latest version always lives on this page, with the date at the top.
